Women's International League for Peace and Freedom - request for information
About
The Women's International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF), the oldest surviving women's peace organisation will be 100 years old in April 2015.
One of the founders was Chrystal Macmillan, an Edinburgh woman who helped organise the first Congress at The Hague in 1915. By 1916, there were three branches in Scotland: Glasgow, Edinburgh and Midlothian. The project has been unable to trace the records of their work or their minute books.
If anyone has any information about the WILPF Scottish branches or their minute books please contact Helen Kay on kayinedinburgh@hotmail.com
