Stuart Ingram, from Twynholm, has amassed an impressive collection of over two thousand postcards on a wide variety of subjects, including many showing images from the local area. He has kindly produced digital versions which will be used as the basis of a talk to be delivered by the Kirkcudbright History Society Chairman, Mike Duguid immediately following the Society’s AGM.

The talk will concentrate on images from the Stewartry, inviting comments from the floor and testing the audience’s knowledge in some cases. Particularly interesting postcards in the collection which pertain to wider topics will also be highlighted.
