Walk & Talk - Inverness
When & Where
Event Details
There has been human settlement at the northern end of the Great Glen for at least the last 5000 years. For most of that long history, we have to depend on the slivers and stratifications divined by archaeologists. For the last 1000 years we have at least the possibility of architectural remains; for the last 500 years we have records and memories of buildings; for the last 100 years we have a richness of reminiscence, memory and photographic record unsurpassed in any other Scottish burgh.
