Markinch Heritage Group are delighted to announce a talk on Thursday the 6th February at 7.00pm entitled Witches!! Near Markinch. This talk presented by Elizabeth McMann and Sheila Gaul is based on Remembering the Accused Witches of Scotland but has a little twist. The twist is that the normal presentation on this dark period in Scotland's history takes a diversion to cover deeds nearer home. The speakers have honed an interesting and informative talk on the subject augment by excellent photographs. While the night may feature a somber subject and one that is uncomfortable for 21st century eyes and ears it is nevertheless riveting. To lighten the night; tea, coffee and themed home baking will be on offer and the night ends with our raffle where the prizes touch each side of the sublime to ridiculous spectrum. All are welcome.
