Unfortunately, we have a change of speaker and topic for next month’s meeting. Colin MacKenzie, who was our February speaker, has agreed to move forward a month with his talk on “The Distribution of Gaelic Place Names in Southern Scotland”. As he lives in Orkney. he will present his talk through Zoom although there will still be the opportunity for those who wish it to attend in the hall. Registration for Zoom by 5th January. Members free. Visitors £3. BACS arrangements and more information can be obtained from secretary@kirkcudbrighthistorysociety.org.uk
