When & Where
Event Details
The Strathspey Farmers' Club dates back to 1787 and has roots in the improvements brought in by Sir James Grant, amongst others, in the second half of the 18th Century. Sir James was one of the founders of the Highland Society of Scotland now the Royal Highland Agricultural Society of Scotland and its first vice president. Today's Strathspey Show is considered one of the best of the traditional agricultural shows. The talk will be led by a long standing and much respected member of the Farmers' Club.
