When & Where
Event Details
*THIS IS A HYBRID EVENT*
Participants are invited to join in online or in person in Kirkwall.
The Grassroots Heritage in Scotland Northern Isles Roadshow is for anyone working in or interested in community heritage. The day will be a combination of talks, displays, networking and discussions on important topics that matter to local heritage organisations in this region. A local steering committee will be established to ensure discussion topics reflect local interests and concerns.
All groups in attendance are encouraged to have a stall that will allow them to showcase their work and provide a point of contact for networking.
The entire event is free of charge. Lunch will be provided for our in person attendees and there are travel bursaries to help struggling groups around the Northern Isles to travel to attend.
To register for the roadshow, please email scottishcommunityheritage.com, stating the roadshow you wish to attend in the subject line and in the email provide the name of your organisation, the number of people attending and whether you wish to participate online or in person.
We hope to welcome you at the Grassroots Heritage in Scotland Northern Isles Roadshow!
